6 years ago · 1:06
This episode’s guest – Jack Haldrup – had a somber realization at a young age. One day, Jack was on a plane, returning home from a project for that job. His mind raced. That thought came back again. He wasn’t fulfilled in his work. So he made a promise. Jack decided right then and there, in a cramped airplane seat, to come up with business idea before getting off his flight. And he came up with just one idea: men’s soap.
Jack built a website, found a supplier, launched his soap and hustled to change the course of his future forever. We talk through his story to hear about how he launched a company off the back of an airplane napkin that is now doing $5 million in annual sales, almost entirely online.
Without any expertise in the soap industry, and with little cash, he did what many of you are trying to figure out. He launched a business and got out of that career path. Listen and learn from a young man who taught himself how to make soap, build web pages, market, and bootstrapped his way out of the rat race.
